As the Managing Member of RSK Real Estate Partners, Neil oversees all aspects of the development and construction process. Neil spent 30+ years in the capital markets, managing several multi-billion-dollar hedge funds. After his fund was purchased, he discovered Real Estate. Seeing the limited adoption of data-driven analysis, systematized processes, and technology, he realized the tremendous opportunities that exist. He now applies his experience finding and exploiting arbitrages and inefficiencies to the residential real estate asset class. Similar to his time building and running teams of Quants, Portfolio Managers, and Traders, Neil takes a quantitative, data-intensive, and systematized approach to development. Realizing the tremendous imbalances that exist in the space, he launched the 5|5|5 Initiative – 5000 new builds across 5 cities in 5 years. Neil’s experience in building world-class firms, managing rapid growth, and establishing analytical processes will ensure that RSK Real Estate Partners operates as a first-rate developer of highly desirable residential product and projects at a significantly lower cost than other development firms.
Neil received his Bachelor of Arts degrees in Biology and Economics in 1993, and an MBA with triple concentrations in Finance, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship in 2000; both from The University of Chicago. He currently resides in Chicago. In his downtime, he enjoys traveling with his wife and two beautiful children, racing cars, attending live music, drinking good wine at dive restaurants, and playing golf using a one-armed swing. He is also active on the boards of several charities and business organizations around Chicago.
