The 5|5|5 Initiative – even the casual observer of the residential real estate market is aware there is a dearth of housing in the US. However, that fact belies a deeper one – most developers build luxury or near-luxury product or low-income housing using government incentives. This has resulted in a big lack of supply for middle income residents- known as “The Missing Middle.” This lack is particularly pronounced near MSAs, where teachers, firemen, nurses and baristas are hard-pressed to find reasonably priced housing. They are often forced to drive 45 min or more from the suburbs to get to a job in the city.
RSK’s differentiated approach to development allows us to deliver houses that are high-quality while remaining cost effective for middle income renters. We are continuously striving to secure the most competitive prices from trusted suppliers, through these efforts and our strategy to suit the land to the building rather than creating bespoke homes, we are able to pass along significant savings to the renter. Our approach is reliable and repeatable, allowing the level of quality and cost control that defines our product.
